Zornog's RPG Vault

It's fairly obvious just by looking at the sheer volume of scrolls and tomes in the vault, but the master has an extensive repository of information regarding lesser known worlds within the Material Plane. You could call him a hobbyist. Me, I call him a big fucking dork. What a dork! Look at all this shit! Has this guy even felt a pair of tits in real life? You know what I mean?

Anyway, we all know Toril, we all know Exandria, we all know Oerth. But have you ever heard of Khalin? No! Because it existed for only a few game sessions. Such is the reality of this dumb hobby.

Broadsea. ( This is my current D&D 5.5e (aka 2024 rules) campaign setting. Our first session was on November 25, 2024. Broadsea has a lot of influence from Warhammer 40k, Dune, and Dark Sun lore—think post-apocalyptic grimdark stuff, but with D&D mechanics. I made this website mostly for my players so we can keep track of things, but if you're interested in learning about the last inhabitable place in the world, read on!

AVO. Avo was my prior campaign setting, which has a history stretching back to 3.5e, but was consolidated into a cohesive world around January 2018. There is a LOT of documentation on Avo which I plan to make available at some point. But not yet. Avo still exists, but it got kind of bloated and I wanted to work on something new. I do have plans to make a site where I can keep track of everything, eventually.

Avo has several adventure blocks during different years: Valwyr, or Peasant's Quest, was in 2012; Adventures on Modur Island was in 2014; Krosven Steppe (in Iro) was in 2016; and the long-running Avo game started in 2018.

Darkwinter. This was a setting for an ill-fated D&D podcast I had developed with a couple friends of mine, back in 2019. The show lasted a season before the Scheduling Monster arrived. But I still think the setting is neat! It's a world where the sun goes away for an entire season. It was meant to be a “dark ages” style game.

The Lost Light. This was my 4e setting, the world of Khalin, where the gods were destroyed. It began around the end of 2009 and lasted a few sessions, and then we tried to revive it in 2014, which also only lasted a few sessions. Scheduling is hard!

Portlandia. This was an offshoot game from 2021 which took place in a far-future, post-apocalyptic Portland where all the water levels rose due to melting ice caps. The style was post-apocalyptic steampunk and it was a lot of fun.

Other Settings. The Eastlands. Defenders of the Meridian Vale. Tirea. These are all little snippets of campaigns that aren't fleshed out, or are very old.

Feel free to borrow or steal whatever you want for your home D&D campaign. Please don't steal it if you're making something professional though! Or at least pay me something for it.

Okay thanks bye!
